Overview
Dewox 193 D is a calcium-sulfonate package developed completely free of barium and heavy metals. It is soluble in solvent, solvent/oil and oil diluents, showing excellent compatibility and stability across those media.
Widely used as a high-performance anti-rust base, it separates and displaces water from metal surfaces after machining or alkaline cleaning. The thin film it forms protects ferrous and non-ferrous metals against atmospheric corrosion, holds up under high humidity, and leaves no stain on the metal.
Chemistry: Esterified petroleum wax blended with calcium sulfonate (20 to 30%) and additives.
