Overview
Dewox 72 is a sodium petroleum sulfonate carried in refined mineral oil. It is a workhorse emulsifier for water-miscible metalworking fluids and a soluble rust inhibitor for protective process oils.
In soluble and semi-synthetic coolants it builds and stabilizes the emulsion while protecting freshly machined ferrous surfaces. In straight oils it contributes water-displacing corrosion protection.
