Overview
Dewox 92 is a neutral barium petroleum sulfonate carried in refined mineral oil. It forms a tenacious, water-displacing barrier film that protects ferrous metal against atmospheric corrosion.
It is widely formulated into rust-preventive oils, fingerprint-resistant oils and protective films, and serves as a corrosion-inhibiting additive in lubricant systems where thermal stability is needed.
